Note: While most racks follow the same basic design, specific models may vary. Always refer to the instruction manual included in your specific package for the most accurate details regarding screw sizes and specific hardware.
Hardware: Usually included (screws, nuts, washers, bolts).
Tools: Usually requires an Allen wrench (hex key) or a Phillips screwdriver. Some racks are "tool-free" and use a locking mechanism.
Space: Clear a large, flat area to work on.
Base Feet: The bottom crossbars that make the rack stable.
Vertical Poles: The long poles that go up and down.
Crossbars: The bars that go across the top (for hanging clothes) and sometimes in the middle (for shelves).
Hardware Pack: Screws, bolts, and plastic or metal caps.
Connect the base feet to the bottom of the vertical poles.
Use the provided screws or bolts to tighten them securely.
Tip: Do not tighten the screws completely yet—just enough to hold the pieces together so you can adjust the alignment later.
Slide the top crossbar (the longest horizontal bar) onto the top of the vertical poles.
Align the holes on the crossbar with the holes on the vertical poles.
Insert the screws/bolts and tighten them securely.
Slide this bar into the designated slots on the vertical poles (usually near the top).
Secure it with the provided hardware.
Slide the shelf support rods (usually the middle crossbars) into place.
Drape the fabric or mesh shelf over the rods and tuck the edges in or clip them according to the design.
Go back and tighten all screws and bolts completely.
Place the rack on the floor and check if it wobbles.
Adjust the feet if necessary to ensure it stands level.
Simply slide it over the assembled rack from the top down.
Do not hang the rack near sharp objects or heaters.
Do not overload the rack beyond its weight capacity.
If the rack feels wobbly after assembly, double-check that all screws are tight and the base feet are fully extended.
